Kelsie's Senior Pictures
This weekend I went to Running Springs for Kelsie's Senior photos. The snow was beautiful on the ground and was a perfert day until the snow came down. I give it up for Kelsie, her nose was red her hands were blue, but she kept going smiles and all. It was a pleasure to be able to do her Senior picture. I think both of us will be excited for the pictures in the spring.

Photographer Profile
My name is Kristen VanderMeer a mother of 2 boys and a wife to a wonderful husband. My husband Jason is a firefighter/Paramedic for CAL FIRE. We have been married for 7 years this coming August. I love spending time with my family and friends.
My other passion is Photography. My love for photography started back when I was 18 years old. It started out as a hobby and now a career. In 2003 I was hired to work for FujiFilm. FujiFilm is where I learned all my knowledge of cameras and how they work. With the combination of how the camera works and my passion for photography has brought me where I am today.
In September of 2008, my husband and I received news no parent ever wants to hear... Our 7 year old son has Cancer. At this point I had to leave my job to care for our son and work on his health. Our son Koen is back in school but is struggling with his education and having side effects of receiving the chemo. For the great need of both our sons I need to be home to care for them and the demand of our families financial need, I've decided to pursue my love of photography.
With this blog I hope to show the world what I have to offer. My goal as a photographer is to capture life's moments for my clients.
